Get to know the birds and natural history of the Houston area better on this Sunday morning bus trip.  Coulee Region Audubon Society President Dan Jackson will show you the birds of the area, including Bald Eagles.  With some luck you'll also get to see a Great Horned Owl nest, a roosting Eastern Screech-Owl, and hopefully a Snowy Owl. Lifelong Houston resident Brian Lee will highlight the natural history of the area in between birds.  The trip concludes with a mouth-watering authentic German meal at Through the Grapevine German Restaurant in Houston.

9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Sunday, March 4, 2012.  Bus leaves from the Houston Nature Center.

Cost is $30/person and includes the meal.  If registering February 27 or later the cost is $40/person.  Limit 40 people.  Pre-registration required.
