The mission
of the International Festival of Owls is to:
- spark a personal
connection to owls and the environments we share with them
-
provide financial support for the Houston Nature Center
-
stimulate tourism in the Houston area.

MEDALLION HUNT RULES
-
The Medallion will be hidden on public land in the
City of Houston.
-
It can be found without trespassing, damaging or
defacing land or property or otherwise violating any
laws.
-
The Medallion is not metallic to avoid the advantage
of metal-detection equipment.
-
Clues will be posted hourly at
the festival until the Medallion is found. The
first clue will be announce at 7 PM on Friday, March
4.
-
Once found, the medallion should
be turned in to the information table at Houston
Elementary School.
-
A Festival admission button is
required to participate.
There is a $100 cash prize
for finding the Medallion
