The mission of the International Festival of Owls is to:

- spark a personal connection to owls and the environments we share with them

- provide financial support for the Houston Nature Center

- stimulate tourism in the Houston area.

Cub Scout troops can register to participate in a special program to satisfy the requirements to earn their Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop (belt loops not provided.)  Jennifer Lilla, Park Ranger from Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, will teach scouts about endangered owls, food chains and more.

The program no longer includes a pizza party, and registration is for scouts only.  Sorry, no siblings or parents allowed in the program room due to space limitations.

5:30 PM Friday, March 2, 2012 elementary school

Cost is $8/scout if registered by February 26 or $11/scout if registering February 27 or later.  This cost includes a festival admission button.  Belt loop not included.  Limit 25 scouts.  Pre-registration required.
