My Journey with a Pair of Great Horned Owls

Pamela Dimeler has been observing a pair of wild Great Horned Owls in Pennsylvania for eight years. Her presentation features the trials and tribulations of King Tuft, Queen Ann and their owlets, richly illustrated with many videos showing rarely seen behaviors.

Real Life Great Horned Owl Soap Opera

Karla Bloem began studying Great Horned Owl vocalizations in 2004. This presentation takes you through the real life soap opera that has played out between about 25 wild and captive Great Horned Owls during that timeframe, as well as their behaviors and vocalizations.

No pre-registration is necessary. An admission wristband is required, which can be purchased at the door. Advanced admission can also be purchased online prior to the Festival.
