Among the most popular activities at the Festival are our live owl programs.
Owl programs in 2018 will be presented by the World Bird Sanctuary from near St. Louis, Missouri and Scottish Owl Centre in Scotland.

The World Bird Sanctuary will bring Spectacled, Eurasian Eagle, Barred, and American Barn Owls.
There will be two different programs: "There Must Be Some Myth-Understanding" Friday, March 2 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, March 3 at 3:00 PM and "The Science Behind the Owl" Saturday, March 3 at 9:30 AM and Sunday, March 4 at 9:30 AM at Houston High School.

The World Bird Sanctuary sits on 305 acres and cares for more than 200 animals including owls, hawks, falcons, eagles, vultures, parrots and other birds, bats, snakes, and insects.

The Scottish Owl Centre will present a live, online program on Sunday afternoon on the owls of the world.

No pre-registration necessary, but an admission wristband is required.
PLEASE COME EARLY AS THE MAIN LIVE OWL PROGRAMS ARE HEAVILY ATTENDED!
