When owls eat, they eat fur, feathers, bones, and all. Once or twice a day, depending on the species, they throw up a pellet consisting of the indigestible portion of their meal--the fur or feathers and bones. By taking a pellet apart, you can figure out from the bones what the owl had for supper. You will receive an information sheet, tools, and you will be able to ask questions as you work.
